Our Name
Kaam’ in Sanskrit, which is the classical language of South Asia, literally means ‘work’.
The name ‘kaam.work’ or ‘kaamwork’ connects the Eastern (kaam) and Western (work) worlds to aptly reflect our vision to create a truly connected global workforce where skill and right-fit supercede physical location when making hiring decisions

The alpha (first letter) and omega (last letter) of the greek alphabet combine to reflect our vision to become a full-service, end-to-end platform for global hiring
The completion of the alpha-omega into an “@” which is a symbol commonly used to address someone in the online world further emphasizes our vision of making physical location irrelevant for global talent hiring
